You're NOT Failing!
Have you ever said to yourself “I am a failure!” or “Man I failed that” or “I am really failing at this thing” Well let me tell you something…. YOU ARE NOT! You are not failing, you are learning! It’s a lot easier to think on the negative side of things and think that you are failing rather than turning your “failing” experiences into positives. For example, the other day I walked into my room and saw laundry on the floor that needed to be folded and put away, an unmade bed and just clutter everywhere. In that moment I turned to my husband and said “I am sorry I am failing as a wife.” WHAT? I wish I could go back and slap myself. I am not failing, I AM LEARNING! I have been a wife for like what 2 minutes and I am already telling myself I have failed? No. Wrong. This small moment in time was a big learning experience for me and I wanted to share the learning.
You are not failing. You are not failing at life, school, work, adulting, growing up, relationships or anything you are learning. Okay so you have made some mistakes. What a learning experience mistakes are! Relationship just ended? Take some time to evaluate the relationship and see what you learned from dating that person. Got an F in a class? What could you have done better? What will you do next time to ensure you don’t get a grade like that again?
Everyone knows the saying “learn from your mistakes” well I am here to tell you learn from your “failures”. Rewire your brain to go from thinking failure to learning.
